Privacy and connected Gmail
When you connect Gmail, aibutamazing requests read-only access to that Gmail account. It shows the subject, date, and recipient of messages in Sent so you can choose the emails you wrote. It reads one email body when you open its preview. It also reads selected email bodies when you ask for a draft that uses your writing style.
The app saves your connected Gmail address, sender aliases, selected message IDs, and an encrypted connection token. It does not save Gmail message bodies or attachments as sources. Selected writing excerpts may be sent to the app's configured AI writing and verification services to create and check your requested draft. They are used for your user-facing writing feature, not to train a shared AI model.
Choose a different set of emails in Email settings at any time. Disconnect Gmail there to remove the connection token and message selections from the app. You can also revoke the app's access in your Google Account. Disconnecting does not delete drafts already saved in your chats; use Data controls to delete those chats.
The use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
